Things that worked before stop working. And when tools begin to fail, a slow process of dissolution takes place. In Dissolution, A Memorial to Fixing Things, household tools melt into the mold of a suitcase, animating a cycle -- the recurrent need for departure to a new phase. However, the “new” perspective never crystalizes into the tangible, but will continue to flow and leak and transform.
